Meghalaya people have a unique color of Indianness: Shekhawat* *Union Jal Shakti Minister visited water related projects on the second day of Meghalaya visit

  *Shillong/New Delhi On the second day of his Meghalaya visit, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat visited the projects related to Jal Jeevan Mission.  Shekhawat said that Meghalaya has its own shade.  The people of this state are friendly and aware with a unique color of Indianness.  While inspecting the water harvesting project at Mavlai-Mavatavar of East Khasi Hills area, there was a mixture of enthusiasm and joy in the discussion with the general public.

 On Friday, Union Minister Shekhawat reviewed the aspirational district program with the concerned officials at Ri-Bhoi District DC Office, Meghalaya.  He said that it is important to develop the spirit of competition in the aspirational districts.  The administration in aspirational districts should be more alert for this inclusive development can raise the local standard of living.

 Shekhawat said that while visiting the projects of Jal Jeevan Mission at Umdihar in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya, the observation of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) became a memorable experience.  He said that dialogue was established with the innocent by "Bharat Mata Ki Jai".  Balaman understands emotion more than language.
