*Shillong/New Delhi On the second day of his Meghalaya visit, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat visited the projects related to Jal Jeevan Mission. While inspecting the water harvesting project at Mavlai-Mavatavar of East Khasi Hills area, there was a mixture of enthusiasm and joy in the discussion with the general public.
On Friday, Union Minister Shekhawat reviewed the aspirational district program with the concerned officials at Ri-Bhoi District DC Office, Meghalaya. He said that it is important to develop the spirit of competition in the aspirational districts. Shekhawat said that while visiting the projects of Jal Jeevan Mission at Umdihar in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya, the observation of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) became a memorable experience.
